Elden Ring: Nightreign has unveiled a new class called the Ironeye just in time for its May release. This sniper class revolutionizes ranged combat with its focus on speed and agility. The character trailer highlights the Ironeye's gameplay, showing off its impressive bow and arrow setup and the ability to run up walls for stunning mid-air attacks. Additionally, the class utilizes a new aiming system designed to enhance precision, making headshots more achievable. In a striking display, the Ironeye even executed a riposte move, piercing an enemy's heart with a swift arrow.
During the Nightreign closed network test in February, players got a taste of four out of the eight available classes: the versatile Wylder, the robust Guardian, the agile Duchess, and the mystical Recluse. The Ironeye marks the sixth class to be revealed, and with the game launching next month, it's likely that FromSoftware will unveil the final two classes soon.
The introduction of quality-of-life enhancements, like the new aiming system, has sparked hope among fans that these improvements might also be integrated into the original Elden Ring, potentially making bows more viable as main weapons.
