Eldrum: Black Dust, a captivating choose-your-own-adventure RPG, is now available on iOS and Android. Journey through a dark fantasy world inspired by the Middle East, encountering multiple endings, diverse character classes, and engaging D&D-style turn-based combat.
Fans of classic Fighting Fantasy books will feel right at home. Eldrum: Black Dust retains the core choose-your-own-adventure experience, letting you shape the narrative with crucial decisions. However, it goes beyond simple text choices, offering richer gameplay mechanics. Explore a vast world, engage in tactical battles, and select from a range of character classes.
Priced at just $8.99, Eldrum: Black Dust features stunning original art, immersive audio, and multiple branching storylines, ensuring high replayability. Experiment with different choices and classes to uncover all the secrets this game holds.
Beyond Simple Choices:
Many choose-your-own-adventure games lack substantial interactivity beyond decision-making. Eldrum: Black Dust cleverly addresses this by incorporating light tabletop RPG mechanics, similar to those found in early Fighting Fantasy books and modern introductory TTRPGs.
With its original art, music, branching narrative, and combat system, Eldrum: Black Dust offers a compelling experience. While it may not appeal to genre skeptics, fans of choose-your-own-adventure games searching for something fresh and engaging should definitely consider it as a potential early holiday treat.
