Epic Games has thrilled gamers by announcing that their free games program will now offer weekly giveaways, moving away from the previous monthly schedule. This week, the Epic Games Store is giving away Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist, and you can claim them for free until March 27th. Unlike previous announcements, Epic is keeping the lineup for next week's free games under wraps, adding an element of surprise for eager gamers.
Super Meat Boy Forever revisits the intense platforming challenges of its predecessor but introduces an auto-runner format. Players still need to navigate through dangerous environments filled with sawblades and other lethal traps, but the focus shifts to perfectly timed jumps and attacks. While it supports controller use, the game's touch controls are robust enough for those who prefer not to connect a controller. Fans of the original Super Meat Boy will appreciate the continued demand for precision, now presented in a fresh format.
In contrast, Eastern Exorcist dives into a darker, more serious narrative. This side-scrolling action RPG immerses players in a world drawn from Chinese and Japanese folklore, where you assume the role of an exorcist battling demons and supernatural entities. The game stands out with its visually striking hand-drawn art, eerie character designs, and captivating cut scenes, making it a must-try for fans of atmospheric storytelling and action.
Both Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist are available for download from the Epic Games Store on Android.
In addition to the weekly free games, Epic Games is expanding its mobile offerings. Recent additions to both Android and iOS platforms include Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, MR RACER: Premium, The Forest Quartet, and The WereCleaner, providing a diverse range of gaming experiences for mobile users.
For Android users, Epic has also introduced exclusive titles such as Bowling Clash, Endling – Extinction is Forever, Chicken Police – Paint it RED, One Hand Clapping, Neighbours Back From Hell, This is The Police, This is The Police 2, This is The President, and Through the Darkest of Times, further enriching the mobile gaming library.
Before you go, don't miss out on our latest news about Alcyone: The Last City, an upcoming sci-fi visual novel that promises multiple endings and an engaging storyline.
