Etheria: Restart is an eagerly awaited free-to-play hero RPG that promises thrilling live arena battles set in a futuristic, sci-fi universe. In this game, humanity faces a global freeze, prompting them to upload their minds to Etheria, where they coexist with beings known as the Animus. However, a new threat emerges in the form of the Genesis Virus, which corrupts the Animus and turns them hostile.
As a Hyperlinker in the Hyperlinker Union, your mission is to combat this viral threat and uncover its origins to protect both the virtual world and the remnants of real humanity. Developed using Unreal Engine, Etheria: Restart boasts stunning graphics and cinematic scenes. The gameplay combines strategic turn-based combat with real-time tactical control, and includes a PvP arena for competitive battles. Players can also engage with a gacha system to acquire new characters using Hydra Crystals, which can be earned in-game or purchased with real currency.
The final beta test is set to kick off on May 8, 2025, and will feature the Anisync Echoes and Phantom Theater trial challenges, along with real-time PvP (RTA) battles inspired by fan-favorite titles like Summoners War and Epic Seven. Cross-play will be enabled during this beta, allowing players on mobile and PC to compete in the real-time arena, form the ultimate squad for intense boss fights, and unlock new companions called "Shells."
