Marvel Studios unveils the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, promising a spectacular superhero spectacle slated for 2025.
The trailer showcases Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and The Thing, alongside the formidable villain Galactus. Opening with a dinner scene at the Baxter Building, the trailer highlights the film's stylish 1960s retro-futuristic aesthetic and hints at an epic New York showdown.
We witness Ben Grimm's transformation into The Thing, and both he and H.E.R.B.I.E. (the Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics) display their culinary skills. Sue Storm's Invisible Woman abilities and Johnny Storm's Human Torch powers are briefly showcased, while Reed Richards' elastic Mr. Fantastic powers remain, for now, unseen.
A notable appearance is made by John Malkovich, rumored to portray Ivan Kragoff, also known as the Red Ghost.
The trailer's launch event at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, saw stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach interacting with enthusiastic fans.
Scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, the MCU film features Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, and also stars Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Matt Shakman directs, with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige producing.
