Farlight 84 Drops New Expansion With Pets Called ‘Hi, Buddy!’

Farlight 84's exciting new expansion, "Hi, Buddy!", is now live, bringing a host of engaging features. Central to this update is the introduction of a Buddy System, featuring adorable and helpful companions that will alter the battlefield dynamic.

Meet Your Buddies:

The Buddy System introduces two categories of companions: Common Buddies and Archon Buddies. Common Buddies, easily acquired, possess useful abilities. Archon Buddies, rarer and more powerful, offer game-changing capabilities. These Buddies are acquired using Buddy Orbs, scattered throughout the map, and each Orb can hold up to six tactical items, offering strategic versatility.

Ten Buddies debut in this expansion: Common Buddies include Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy. The powerful Archon Buddies are the Time Dominator, capable of manipulating the Safe Zone, and the Storm Empress, who can unleash devastating tornadoes.

Beyond Buddies:

The "Hi, Buddy!" update also includes a revamped Sunder Realms map with new terrain, structures, and landmarks, offering fresh gameplay opportunities. A new Tactical Core system allows players to upgrade hero skills and unlock new abilities using Trait points and Trait Activation Cards. Finally, exciting events like the Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event provide chances to earn valuable rewards, including skins and loot boxes.
