NetherRealm Studios just debuted the official trailer for Madam Bo, the fiery Fengjian Teahouse proprietor joining as a Kameo fighter. She arrives alongside iconic villain T-1000 from Terminator 2 on March 18, 2025 through Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.
Previously appearing in Mortal Kombat 1's story mode, Madam Bo made waves when she allegedly suffered defeat against Lin Kuei assassin Smoke over unpaid protection money - later revealed as an elaborate ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her elderly appearance, this former Lin Kuei operative possesses exceptional martial arts skills, having personally trained the two champions.
The gameplay footage showcases Madam Bo assisting her students with devastating kicks, precise punches, and her signature bottle-smashing attacks. Her brutal finishing move features a perfect head kick followed by catching the severed head on her tea tray with impeccable precision.
Synchronized with Madam Bo's release, the liquid metal assassin T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day joins the roster. This shapeshifting cybernetic killer leverages its morphing abilities to assault opponents with bladed weapons and firearms.
These new characters debut with the Khaos Reigns expansion, extending Liu Kang's New Era narrative through an additional story campaign. Players will witness his champions confronting Titan Havik's threat to their reborn timeline.
Kombat Pack 2 gradually introduced characters since September 2024, including fan favorites Sektor, Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Ghostface, and Conan the Barbarian. The expansion concludes this March with Madam Bo and T-1000 joining the fight.
