One-Winged Angel Soars onto the Louis Vuitton Runway
The iconic Final Fantasy VII soundtrack, "One-Winged Angel," made a surprise appearance at the Louis Vuitton Men's Fall-Winter 2025 Fashion Show, electrifying the audience with its powerful presence.
The show opened with a breathtaking live orchestral rendition of the legendary track, accompanying male models as they showcased the latest Louis Vuitton collection. This unexpected choice of music, amidst a soundtrack otherwise leaning towards pop artists like The Weeknd, Playboy Carti, Don Toliver, SEVENTEEN, and BTS' j-hope, certainly caught the attention of viewers worldwide.
Creative director Pharrell Williams curated the show's music, composing or co-writing most of the selections. While no official reason has been given for including "One-Winged Angel"—composed by Nobuo Uematsu—it's a testament to the track's enduring power and perhaps a hint at Williams' personal appreciation for the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy VII, the story of Cloud Strife and his fight against Shinra and Sephiroth, remains a beloved title in the Final Fantasy franchise. Originally released in 1997, it holds a special place in the hearts of gamers globally.
