FFIX and Rebirth Update Resolves Controller Woes

Fixes for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. This update addresses controller vibration issues. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, as he joins Avalanche to prevent Shinra Electric Power Company from destroying the planet.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story beyond Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update enhances the game's atmosphere and realism, particularly improving the haptic feedback. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment expands the storyline and emphasizes exploration.

While Final Fantasy XVI initially underperformed in May 2024, sales eventually slowed further, ultimately missing projected financial targets. Specific sales figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not released sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also fell short of internal projections.

However, Square Enix clarified that they don't consider Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete failure. They remain confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still achieve its goals within the 18-month timeframe.
