Interestingly, Hamaguchi also mentioned Grand Theft Auto VI as a game that caught his attention this year. He expressed his admiration for the Rockstar Games team, acknowledging the immense pressure they face following the phenomenal success of GTA V.

The company remains confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still meet its sales goals within the allotted 18-month timeframe.
