You lead one of the last surviving human communities in a world overrun by zombies. Assign roles to survivors, carefully manage limited resources, and build more than a dozen different structures.
You’ll also craft tools, grow wheat, and enhance your citizens’ abilities. Your mission is to endure as long as possible against relentless waves of zombies—each with unique behaviors. Five distinct enemy types include stealthy melee attackers, automated turrets, and long-range snipers.
Weather and seasons play a major role. Expect droughts, brutal winters, and violent thunderstorms—all of which can strain your food supply and weaken your defenses.
The game now features meta-progression, allowing you to carry over skills and unlocked upgrades when starting a new outpost. This is a lifeline if you ever lose everything to a sudden zombie assault.
A new trading system enables you to exchange resources with non-player traders. Over 30 customizable difficulty settings and game modifiers are also included.
You can now oversee multiple outposts, each with its own set of dangers and unique layouts. Cloud saving ensures your progress is preserved across devices.
New systems make the gameplay loop more engaging and replayable. Enhanced visuals and audio deliver a richer experience, complete with an original soundtrack and immersive ambient sound design.
