As Fortnite evolves with each season, fans are already looking forward to the cosmetics that could grace the game in 2025. The recent addition of Godzilla and Big Hero 6 in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has set the stage for more exciting collaborations throughout the coming year.
Fortnite's rise to fame was propelled by its innovative gameplay and the influence of streamers like Ninja. The game has consistently introduced fresh content with every season, and a significant part of this has been the introduction of collaborative skins from a variety of popular franchises. From Star Wars to DC and Marvel Comics, Dragon Ball Z, the NFL, Street Fighter, The Walking Dead, and beyond, these collaborations have been paired with original Fortnite skins like Renegade Raider, Jonesy, Peely, and Fishstick. This rich variety allows players to choose from an extensive array of both new and familiar characters. As a result, fans are already brainstorming their dream skins for 2025.
Reddit user Ihatesmartcars2 recently shared their vision for Fortnite skins in 2025, featuring characters from a diverse range of universes including Marvel, Star Wars, and Valve games. Their list also includes characters from One Piece and Five Nights at Freddy's, franchises long rumored to join Fortnite. Additionally, a Tyler the Creator Icon Series skin, inspired by his IGOR persona with a blonde bowl-cut wig, was highlighted. Many fans echoed excitement for this skin, suggesting variants and a potential Fortnite Festival concert.
Given Epic Games' practice of surveying the community about desired skins, some of these fan favorites may indeed make it into the game. Beyond Ihatesmartcars2's list, other Reddit users have suggested additional characters, including more from Star Wars and DC Comics, as well as Jesse, Saul, and Mike from Breaking Bad, the rest of the DC Comics Robin characters, and Wednesday Addams. While there's a strong precedent for skins from Star Wars, DC, and Marvel, fans have noted that collaborations with companies like Rockstar Games and Valve could be less likely due to their respective policies on crossovers and competition.
As Fortnite continues to evolve, new cosmetics are added with each season, expanding beyond traditional Locker slots with the introduction of items like Kicks shoes. This opens up exciting possibilities for what 2025 could bring to the world of Fortnite cosmetics.
