Game of Thrones: Kingsroad announces closed beta test coming this month

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad – Closed Beta Coming January 15th!

Netmarble's highly anticipated Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, based on George R.R. Martin's novels and the HBO series, is launching a closed beta on Android and PC. The beta begins January 15th and runs until the 22nd, available in the US, Canada, and select European regions. Sign-ups are open now!

Unlike previous Game of Thrones mobile games, which focused on strategy, Kingsroad offers a third-person action-adventure experience. Players become the heir to House Tyrell, embarking on a journey across Westeros, battling enemies, and building prestige. The game features three distinct character classes: Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin.

Winter is Coming (and the Beta is Almost Here!)

Registration for the closed beta closes January 12th. While the game's visuals are impressive, its success will depend on several factors. Although Game of Thrones' peak popularity may have passed, a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaits a high-quality, immersive experience. Therefore, monetization strategies, long-term support, and overall game design will be crucial for Netmarble.
