Ghostrunner Creators Tease New Game

One More Level, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Ghostrunner series, is renowned for its blend of brutal action and cyberpunk aesthetics. In Ghostrunner, precision, agility, and lightning-fast reflexes are paramount. One-hit kills are the norm, but the protagonist's vulnerability demands equally precise timing and skillful evasion. The games' success is undeniable, with the first installment receiving average critic and user scores of 81% and 79%, respectively, and the sequel achieving 80% and 76%.

Today, One More Level revealed a new image hinting at their next project. The studio is currently developing two games: Cyber Slash and Project Swift. Given Project Swift's 2028 release date, the newly unveiled image almost certainly pertains to Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash transports players to the first half of the 19th century, offering a dark and twisted reimagining of the Napoleonic era. Expect an epic adventure filled with legendary heroes battling unknown forces and confronting terrifying threats.

Gameplay promises a challenging and action-packed experience, diverging from the classic Souls-like formula. While parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain core mechanics, the protagonist will undergo transformative mutations throughout the game, adding a unique layer to the combat.
