Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 1, 2025, when Gigantamax Kingler makes its grand debut in Pokémon GO. The event will run from 2 PM to 5 PM local time, so set your alarms to ensure you don't miss out on the action. During this window, you'll encounter Gigantamax Kingler in six-star Max Battles, and with a bit of luck, you might even face a Shiny version, as per Pokémon GO's official event details.

During the event, you'll benefit from several bonuses, some of which will start before the event kicks off. Here's what you can expect:

• Active bonuses during the event (2 PM to 5 PM local time):

  • Max Particle collection limit increased to 1,600
  • All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles
  • Power Spots will refresh more frequently
  • 8x Max Particles from Power Spots

• Pre-event bonuses (12 AM to 5 PM local time on February 1, 2025):

  • 2x Max Particles from exploring
  • 1/4 adventuring distance to receive Max Particles

Note that to take advantage of the final two bonuses, you must collect all Max Particles in the Nearby menu. Keep an eye on this menu daily to gather Max Particles by simply exploring the game world.

During the event, you can purchase event-exclusive Timed Research for $5 (or the equivalent in your local currency), available from 2 PM to 5 PM local time on February 1, 2025. The rewards for completing this research include:

• x1 Max Mushroom
• x25,000 XP

Additionally, you'll enjoy these bonuses:

• 2x XP from Max Battles
• Max Particle collection limit increased to 5,600

Tickets can be purchased and gifted to Pokémon GO friends at a Great Friends level or higher. However, tickets will only be available until 4 PM local time during the event, and purchases are non-refundable and cannot be made with PokéCoins. Plan your spending carefully.
