A notable change in the demo is the protagonist, who is not the Nameless One but another prisoner from the Miners' Valley. In related news, THQ Nordic has announced that a free demo for the Gothic 1 Remake will be available starting February 24. This demo will feature Niras' prologue, crafted using Unreal Engine 5.
