Microsoft is set to bring Rockstar Games' blockbuster, *Grand Theft Auto 5*, back to Xbox Game Pass and introduce *GTA 5 Enhanced* to Game Pass for PC starting April 15. This exciting addition to the Wave 1 April 2025 lineup was detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post, highlighting it as the service's standout title for the month. The PC Game Pass version will feature the newly released Enhanced update from Rockstar, launched in early March.
"No matter what version you’re playing, everyone will have access to *Oscar Guzman Flies Again*, the latest update where you can take to the skies — taking control of the McKenzie Field Hanger in Grapeseed," an official Xbox statement read. "Play new arms trafficking missions, fly new aircraft, and more."
The game's return to Game Pass after its previous removal marks a significant moment for fans. However, the excitement is tempered for some, especially with the PC version. *GTA 5 Enhanced* arrived on PC on March 4 as a free update, introducing new vehicles, performance upgrades in Hao’s Special Works, animal encounters, and visual enhancements. Despite these additions, the update led to *GTA 5 becoming Rockstar’s worst-reviewed title on Steam* due to ongoing account migration issues that have prevented players from transferring their GTA Online profiles to the new version.
Newcomers to Los Santos might not face these issues, but returning players eager to migrate their accounts to the Enhanced upgrade could find themselves frustrated as the migration problems persist.
