The Might and Mastery event is currently live in Pokemon GO, bringing a host of new features to the mobile game. The highlight, however, is the much-anticipated arrival of the Wushu Pokemon, Kubfu. Fans have eagerly awaited the inclusion of Kubfu and its evolution, Urshifu, ever since their debut in the Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC. Now, the wait is over, and you can secure your own Kubfu by completing a few tasks.
To catch Kubfu, navigate to the Special Research tab in Pokemon GO and locate the "Might and Mastery" section. Here's a rundown of the tasks you'll need to complete:

For those who want more than one Kubfu, Pokemon GO offers the Paid Special Research – Fuzzy Fighter pass for $8. This pass unlocks additional Research tasks, giving you the chance to catch a second Kubfu. Here are the rewards included with the pass:
The Fuzzy Fighter pass is available for purchase until March 10, 2025, at 10 AM local time. Once purchased, the tasks remain accessible, so there's no rush to complete them immediately.
Kubfu is undeniably cute, but competitive players are keen to know if they can evolve it into Urshifu. Currently, it seems that evolution isn't possible, but given that Kubfu's evolution is featured on the Might and Mastery event's loading screen, it's likely that this feature will be added in the future.
