Your journey begins by advancing through Kanya’s fishing questline, which involves completing the following side quests:

• Seeking the Goldenfish: Head to the Scarlet Forest in Area 6 where you can find pools of water in caves. Use either the Golden Bughead or Common Wood Minnow baits to catch the Goldenfish. The Fallow weather state increases the chances of the fish spawning.
• Fishing for Favor: Catch the Gravid Bowfin at the Scarlet Forest base camp during the Plenty weather condition. Equip the Emerald Jitterbait and cast your line in the water to secure this catch.
• The Catch of a Lifetime!: For this quest, you need to catch any large fish that triggers the reeling minigame. The Tuna found in the lake at Area 17 of the Scarlet Forest is a popular choice. Hook a big fish and patiently reel it in.
