2024年11月26日，Pokémon公司打破了吉尼斯世界纪录中“最长开箱直播”的纪录。这场直播活动是为了庆祝宝可梦集换式卡牌游戏最新扩展包——《猩红·紫罗兰——激流火花》的发布。
直播邀请了多位知名网络红人参与，包括Serebii网站站长Joe Merrick以及社交媒体红人PokeGirl Ranch和Mayplaystv。这场长达24小时的直播在Pokémon的Twitch频道进行。三位网络红人共计打开了1500包增强包，并拆封了其他宝可梦周边产品。根据Pokémon官方新闻网站的消息，直播结束后，他们共收集到2万多张卡牌。
Pokémon国际公司市场部高级总监Peter Murphy对这一成就感到非常自豪。“24小时的开包过程令人难以置信，我们很高兴能与优秀的创作者团队一起获得这项雄心勃勃的吉尼斯世界纪录称号，”他说道。

这款宝可梦集换式卡牌游戏的最新扩展包于2024年11月8日正式发布，将玩家带入《宝可梦：紫罗兰/猩红》DLC第二部分——《靛蓝圆盘》的主要地点：秘境。它包含了闪耀的太晶宝可梦ex，包括拥有终极防御技能“金属防御”的阿尔宙斯ex。
这款新扩展包还包含了标志性的龙系宝可梦，如帕路奇亚、帝牙卢卡、艾特纳图斯、阿罗拉椰蛋树ex和赤齿龙ex。为了营造更热带的风情，该扩展包还提供了插图稀有卡和特别插图稀有卡，包括描绘“平静的海浪和温暖的微风”的阿罗拉三地鼠和霏丝。新的太晶宝可梦ex也加入其中，为集换式卡牌游戏玩家的卡组增添趣味，例如沙漠奈克洛兹玛ex和巨翅飞鱼ex。
这款新扩展包也可以通过宝可梦集换式卡牌游戏线上版应用程序获得。数字玩家甚至可以通过收集和对战最新的闪耀太晶宝可梦ex来获得游戏内奖励。
