Hades 2 is steadily approaching its full release as it marks its first anniversary in early access. Dive into the latest updates on the game's progress and its planned initial launch platform.
Celebrating a year in early access since May 6, 2024, Hades 2's developer, Supergiant, recently shared an update on Twitter (X). They expressed gratitude towards the community for their support and highlighted the ongoing progress towards the game's full release.
Their message states, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"
Hades, the predecessor, similarly launched in early access and took 22 months to reach its full version. Supergiant aims to expedite Hades 2's full release, with plans for a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.
In a recent episode of Nintendo’s Creator’s Voice video series, Supergiant announced that Hades 2 will debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the Switch 2 slated for release on June 5, fans can anticipate Hades 2's launch around the same timeframe.
As the sequel to the beloved rogue-like game, Hades 2 marks Supergiant Games' first venture into creating a sequel. The developers have approached this project with "a great deal of fear and respect."
Currently available in early access, Hades 2 is set to launch first on the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, followed by a later release on PC. Keep up with the latest news on the game by checking out our article below!
