Fans of *Star Wars Jedi: Survivor* were thrilled to see new figures featured in this latest wave of Star Wars toys. The inclusion of Nightsister Merrin and a three-pack set featuring series protagonist Cal Kestis, along with Turgle and Skoova Stev, was particularly exciting. Cal's figure comes with multiple head options, including one sporting a handlebar mustache, which Jing Houle highlighted as a fun and prioritized feature for this release.

"We wanted to have fun with it," Houle shared with IGN. "This is one of my favorite packs that we revealed in the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and the mullet, then added the clean cut and short beard later. The handlebar look is our primary focus because it's just so much fun."

The inclusion of Merrin alongside Cal was a natural choice, given her significant role in the *Fallen Order/Survivor* saga. Chris Reiff discussed the challenges of capturing Merrin's unique Force abilities in her figure.

"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," Reiff said. "We're glad we finally got to Merrin, and depicting her Force effect, the green blast, along with the detail of her new costume and face tattoos using inkjet printing, was a rewarding challenge. She's a cool character, and we know fans are invested in her story."

The lineup also featured updated versions of classic characters Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite the numerous figures released over the years, Jing Houle emphasized the need for continuous improvement.

"We haven't done them in a long time," Houle explained. "They needed an update, so we equipped them with the latest articulation technology. Fans can now enjoy these classic characters with enhanced movement and detail. We've also learned from our previous Wookiee figures to use softer plastics for Chewbacca's long hair, allowing for seamless movement. For Han, we added articulation to the top of the boot to maintain the integrity of the red bars on his thigh."

One of the most striking figures in this lineup is The Ronin, inspired by the anime anthology series *Star Wars: Visions*. This black-and-white figure, with its red katana lightsaber, is a Celebration-exclusive release. Both Houle and Reiff emphasized the importance of getting the small details right for this unique figure.

"We kept true to the series," Houle noted. "We drew inspiration from Japanese culture for the packaging, which is designed to look premium with magnets for opening and hidden accessories. The watercoloring and overall attention to detail in design and engineering reflect our commitment to quality."

Reiff added, "We even used Japanese language for this exclusive packaging, which is not typical for us, but given that we're in Japan, it was a special touch to embrace the local culture."

Lastly, Hasbro delighted fans of the 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line by revealing a meticulously detailed Death Trooper helmet during their Celebration panel.

"It's a fully new tooled helmet for our Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff said. "It's designed to look like it's straight out of the movie, complete with weathering and lighting details. You can control the chin lights and spectre sensor lights with a button on the side. We worked closely with Lucasfilm to ensure we captured all the details accurately, even adding a detailed interior, which the real helmets don't have."
