Get ready for a chilling escape! The Haunted Carnival, a new escape room-style puzzler, is now available on Android. Prepare to explore—and hopefully escape—a truly eerie carnival.
Your path to freedom is blocked by five distinct rooms, each presenting five unique puzzles. It seems that all it takes to transform a fun day at the carnival into a terrifying nightmare is dimmed lights and a few murderous clowns. Doubt me? Let The Haunted Carnival change your mind.
This escape room puzzler plunges you into the heart of the carnival with one goal: escape. Naturally, obstacles abound. Similar to last week's featured game, Legacy Reawakening, despite adhering to point-and-click adventure conventions, The Haunted Carnival lets you freely explore a fully rendered carnival environment.
The carnival isn't one continuous space; it's divided into five distinct rooms, each containing five challenging puzzles. Expect intrigue and a healthy dose of spookiness. If clowns are your phobia, you might want to skip this one.
Initially, I was skeptical upon seeing AI-generated art used in The Haunted Carnival's icon. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the game's actual visuals. The crunchy, low-poly environments are surprisingly attractive.
While I can't yet offer a full gameplay review, if the puzzles are as well-designed as the environments, The Haunted Carnival is definitely worth checking out.
