This week, developer Arrowhead introduced the full-scale Illuminate invasion, complete with new enemy types. The narrative within the game suggested that the Illuminate were set on a direct course for Super Earth, and now a leak from the official Czech Republic Threads account indicates that the Illuminate will indeed reach our home planet, forcing players to defend it.
Redditor xTekshi first noticed the now-deleted post, which mentioned a forthcoming "Heart of Democracy" update scheduled for May 20. Although the term "Heart of Democracy" has been referenced in the context of this week’s update, neither Sony nor Arrowhead has officially confirmed its connection to the May 20 release date.The speculation is further fueled by the fact that a May 20 release aligns perfectly with the conclusion of the current Major Order.

Given the language used by both Sony and Arrowhead, such as “High Command believes this Fleet's ultimate objective to be the invasion of Super Earth itself” and “Battle on Super Earth is inevitable,” the scenario seems highly probable.
Consequently, fans believe that the Czech account inadvertently leaked details about Helldivers 2’s next major update, which could involve defending Super Earth. If this leak turns out to be true, it would mark a significant evolution for the game, currently featuring only alien planet maps. Engaging in battles on Super Earth would undoubtedly introduce a fresh and exciting dynamic to the explosive third-person action game.
