A simple picture of a single cake was shared by Team Cherry members, sparking immediate speculation among dedicated fans. Some envisioned a complex ARG (alternate reality game) hidden within the seemingly innocuous image.
This excitement was short-lived, however. Team Cherry quickly clarified that the cake photo was not part of an ARG, deflating the hopes of many eager sleuths.
Despite this "official" explanation, some fans remain unconvinced, clinging to the theory of an April reveal. The development of Hollow Knight Silksong continues, and the official release date remains shrouded in mystery.
