Get ready for an exciting journey as Honkai: Star Rail rolls out its Version 3.2 update, 'Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,' on April 9th. This new chapter promises to deliver captivating lore, thrilling battles, and the introduction of new characters. As HoYoVerse celebrates the game's two-year anniversary, players can look forward to a host of special events and generous giveaways.
Version 3.2 introduces two new 5-star characters: Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition). Castorice comes with a tragic backstory and powerful abilities. As a Chrysos Heir burdened by the Touch of Death, she is on a quest to find the lost Coreflame of Death, wielding the Netherwing. Anaxa, on the other hand, brings a scholarly perspective to the team. As one of the Seven Sages of the Grove of Epiphany, his dark experiences have shifted his view on reality. His Ultimate, Sublimation, can apply seven Weaknesses to every enemy simultaneously, making him a formidable addition to any team.
Returning characters will also grace the banners. In the first half of Version 3.2, players can look forward to reruns of Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron. Dr. Ratio will make his comeback in the second half, giving players another chance to add him to their roster.
HoYoverse has teased balance changes coming in Version 3.4 for characters like Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu. While specifics are yet to be revealed, these adjustments are eagerly anticipated. Get a sneak peek at what Version 3.2 has to offer in the trailer below.
The narrative of Version 3.2 takes players to Styxia, a forgotten city submerged beneath the Sea of Souls, filled with dragon bones and haunted by spirits. The Trailblazers will guide Castorice through this eerie locale, unraveling the mysteries of the Titans and the draconic catastrophe that devastated the city.
In celebration of the two-year anniversary, HoYoVerse is rewarding players with 20 free pulls just for logging in. On April 26th, the anniversary day, players will receive 1,600 Stellar Jades and a special in-game card from a companion. Additionally, players can choose between Ruan Mei or Luocha as a free 5-star character.
