The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card remains elusive as a standalone GPU, and your best chance to acquire one is through a pre-built gaming computer. Currently, HP stands out as the only online retailer offering an RTX 5090 prebuilt gaming PC for under $5,000. To secure this powerful system, you'll need to meticulously follow the configuration steps provided. While HP's estimated delivery date of June 3 might be overly optimistic, if you're determined to get your hands on this card, you'll need to put in the effort.

The Nvidia 50-series GPUs were officially unveiled at CES 2025. While Nvidia has focused on enhancing AI capabilities and introducing DLSS 4 technology to boost gameplay performance over the previous generation, the RTX 5090 has still emerged as the most potent consumer GPU available, even when considering only hardware-based raster performance. This card offers a significant 25%-30% performance increase over the RTX 4090, and it comes equipped with 32GB of GDDR7 VRAM.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 FE Review by Jackie Thomas**
"The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 has officially claimed the performance crown from the RTX 4090, albeit with a less dramatic leap than previous generations. In terms of traditional, non-AI gaming performance, the RTX 5090 delivers one of the smallest generational uplifts we've seen recently. However, in games that support it, DLSS 4 truly delivers substantial performance gains – though you'll need to accept that 75% of the frames are generated by AI."
The Omen 45L represents HP's flagship gaming chassis and, in our view, one of the top pre-built gaming PCs on the market. This model offers HP's largest chassis, ensuring ample cooling with four 120mm fans for system airflow, plus a 240mm to 360mm all-in-one liquid cooling solution for the CPU. It's powered by a robust 1,200W 80Plus Gold power supply and features contemporary components such as an Intel Z790 motherboard, Kingston FURY DDR5 RGB memory modules, and a WD Black M.2 SSD. The chassis combines steel and tempered glass with RGB lighting for a premium aesthetic that subtly hints at its gaming prowess without being overly ostentatious.
