Walmart has just launched one of the most impressive budget gaming PC deals of the year. During the Intel Gamer Days Sale, the iBuypower Slate gaming PC—featuring an Intel Core i5-14400F processor and GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card—is now available for just $1,099 after an instant $400 discount. Sold and shipped directly by Walmart, this system can arrive as early as August 27. The RTX 5070 is a great option for smooth gaming at up to 1440p resolution.
Between August 25 and September 14, purchasing a gaming PC or laptop with an Intel Core 13th Gen, 14th Gen, or Core Ultra processor includes a complimentary download code for Battlefield 6 upon its release on October 10. The Battlefield 6 beta concluded on August 17, drawing hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of participants eager to try the game. Early feedback has been largely positive, including from IGN’s own team.

This iBuypower Slate gaming PC comes with an Intel Core i5-14400F CPU, a GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz memory, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The Core i5-14400F is part of Intel's 14th-gen Raptor Lake Refresh series, reaching turbo speeds of up to 4.7GHz across 10 cores, and is cooled by a 120mm tower heatsink and fan.
Performance-wise, the RTX 5070 matches the RTX 4070 Super from the previous generation. While we hoped for a more significant leap in raw power, the RTX 4070 Super was already a strong performer at 1080p and 1440p. However, the RTX 4070 Super has since been discontinued and is mainly available on the used market. The RTX 5070 also supports DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation, which boosts performance noticeably in supported titles like Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Doom: The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and upcoming releases such as Borderlands 4 and Battlefield 6.
