Join Raids with Friends via Pokémon Go's Friend List

Pokémon Go simplifies Raid joining via friends list! This minor but welcome update allows players to easily see if friends (Great Friends or higher) are in a Raid, view the boss Pokémon, and join without needing an invitation.

For those preferring solo play, an in-settings opt-out is available. This change, detailed on the official Pokémon Go blog, streamlines the Raid experience and suggests increased responsiveness to player feedback from Niantic.

Solo Play Option Remains

This update enhances social interaction within the game, making it simpler to assist friends in Raids.
