Exciting news for fans of the hit series, Kaiju No. 8! The much-anticipated mobile game, Kaiju No. 8 The Game, has opened its pre-registration for Android users worldwide. Akatsuki Games unveiled the first trailer back in June 2024, and after a nearly year-long wait, the beloved manga and anime are making their way to mobile and PC platforms soon.
When Is It Landing on Mobile?
Mark your calendars for August 31st, 2025, as that's the official launch date listed on the app stores. This game is the result of a collaborative effort between Akatsuki Games, TOHO, and Production I.G., all coming together to bring Naoya Matsumoto's captivating universe to life in a whole new way.
In terms of gameplay, Kaiju No. 8 The Game combines the anime's cinematic flair with traditional turn-based combat. Players will need to strategically expose a Kaiju's core before unleashing their most powerful attacks. You'll have the chance to control iconic characters such as Mina Ashiro, Soshiro Hoshina, and Kikoru Shinomiya, each rendered in stunning 3D with their unique battle moves from the series.
While the game revisits key arcs, it's not just a rehash of Kafka Hibino's journey. It expands the Kaiju No. 8 universe with fresh, original storylines, offering fans new adventures within this thrilling world.
