Bandai has been redefining the term "snowballing" since 2004 with the unique charm of Katamari Damacy. Now, they're taking it to the next level with Katamari Damacy Rolling Live, set to launch on Apple Arcade this April. This game invites you to roll around, stick objects together, and grow your katamari as you collect an array of whimsical trinkets, simply because you can.
Katamari Damacy Rolling Live marks the first original entry in the series in years, promising to captivate both long-time fans and newcomers alike. The appeal of rolling around to stick things together, all in an effort to please the King of All Cosmos, is undeniably engaging and surreal.
As you fulfill the King's objectives, you'll have the chance to light up the sky as a star or discover secret "Cousins" to aid you on your journey. Additionally, by collecting Royal Presents, you can unlock Channel Badges and Costumes, enhancing your gameplay experience.
What makes this new installment particularly intriguing is its modern narrative twist: the King will be streaming your efforts live, with viewers commenting on your progress in real-time. This feature adds a thrilling layer of pressure as you strive to rebuild a star for the King.
You'll need to wait until April 3rd to get your hands on Katamari Damacy Rolling Live, which will be an Apple Arcade exclusive. To play, you'll need an Apple Arcade subscription.
