TreesPlease Games concluded 2024 with a remarkable achievement. Their merge game, Longleaf Valley, surpassed expectations, resulting in the planting of over two million real trees thanks to player participation.
This impressive feat represents a doubling of the previous year's total (2023), a testament to the combined efforts of players and the Eden Reforestation Project. Longleaf Valley also saw a doubling of downloads in 2024, according to TreesPlease Games.
Established in 2019, TreesPlease Games is dedicated to creating games that promote environmental conservation and combat climate change. Longleaf Valley, their first mobile game, perfectly embodies this mission.
Recognizing their impactful work, Longleaf Valley received the Best Purpose-Driven Game award at the Playing for the Planet Awards in November 2024. To celebrate this monumental tree-planting milestone, TreesPlease Games is hosting a special in-game event.
Longleaf Valley's Celebration:
The Treellionaire Cup competition is underway, challenging players to climb the leaderboard and earn bonus tree tokens. Furthermore, a Veganuary campaign is launching at the start of 2025, offering adorable baby animal rewards and in-game content inspired by the official Veganuary Cookbook. This campaign subtly encourages players to explore more eco-friendly dietary choices by highlighting the link between animal agriculture and deforestation.
Download Longleaf Valley from the Google Play Store and join the Treellionaire Cup! This merge game combines item merging, animal collection, and battling antagonists who threaten natural resources.
