His strong sense of justice, particularly towards the vulnerable, contrasts with his outwardly rebellious nature. He's willing to risk everything to achieve his goals.
While the exact timing of Gennojo's appearance remains undisclosed, his importance to the game's narrative is confirmed. Mackenyu revealed Gennojo belongs to a group known as the "Shinobi League," and players can essentially recruit him as a companion throughout their adventure.
