This remake of the 1996 SNES classic remains true to its original charm while boasting modern enhancements. Expect updated visuals, music, gameplay mechanics, and quality-of-life UI improvements.
In IGN's review, Tom Marks praised the remake's faithfulness to the original, highlighting its humor, satisfying combat, and exceptional new musical arrangements. While the updated graphics are described as "pretty" but somewhat unambitious in their interpretation of the original style, the overall experience is highly recommended.
