Marvel Rivals Unveils Immersive Midtown Expansion

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Sneak Peek

Get ready for the launch of Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls on January 10th! This season promises a massive content drop, including new maps, cosmetics, characters, and a thrilling new game mode. Double the usual seasonal content is planned, all geared towards introducing the full Fantastic Four.

NetEase Games recently unveiled a Dev Vision video highlighting the upcoming season's expansion. The decision to pack in double the content stems from a desire to launch all four Fantastic Four members within a single season. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman arrive on January 10th, while Human Torch and The Thing will join the fray in a substantial mid-season update.

A new video showcases the highly anticipated Midtown map, featuring iconic locations like the Baxter Building and Avengers Tower. Intriguingly, the video subtly hints at future additions, with a Wilson Fisk building visible and a Captain America statue in Avengers Tower. Similar easter eggs have appeared in previous map reveals, such as a Wong portrait in the Sanctum Sanctorum map, fueling speculation about future character introductions. This Sanctum Sanctorum map will be central to the new Doom Match game mode.

Midtown Map Unveiled

The striking visuals of the Midtown map include a blood-red sky and a blood moon, setting a dramatic tone. The inclusion of Wilson Fisk’s building is a notable first for the game, adding another layer of intrigue.

Fan Excitement Soars

The community is buzzing with anticipation, particularly for the arrival of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman. The addition of another Strategist character is a major draw, with Invisible Woman's gameplay already generating significant excitement. Mister Fantastic's unique blend of Duelist and Vanguard abilities is also generating considerable buzz. The sheer volume of new content promises a bright future for Marvel Rivals.
