Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Deep Dive into the Darkhold Battle Pass
Get ready for the chilling debut of Marvel Rivals Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! This season plunges players into a gothic horror-themed experience dominated by Dracula, with a surprising shift away from Doctor Doom's usual villainy. The Fantastic Four take center stage as they confront Dracula's sinister forces after Doctor Strange falls victim to a cunning trap.
The Darkhold Battle Pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers a wealth of rewards. Complete the pass to earn 600 Lattice and 600 Units, usable for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. Ten exclusive skins headline the rewards, alongside sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A reassuring note: the pass doesn't expire, allowing completion at your own pace.
NetEase Games has unveiled a captivating sneak peek at the Season 1 Battle Pass skins:

The season's aesthetic is undeniably dark and atmospheric. A blood moon casts its ominous glow over a New York City backdrop in the new maps. Character designs reflect this, with Wolverine's vampire hunter-inspired skin and Loki's sinister All-Butcher attire standing out. Moon Knight's stark black and white costume contrasts sharply with Scarlet Witch's signature red and purple, while Adam Warlock's golden armor and crimson cape complete the gothic ensemble.
While the battle pass has generated considerable excitement, the absence of Fantastic Four skins has surprised some fans. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debut in Season 1, but their skins will be available separately in the in-game shop. Despite this, the abundance of new content promises a thrilling start to Marvel Rivals.
