The developers of Marvel Rivals have just released thrilling gameplay videos featuring the Human Torch and the Thing, the second half of the Fantastic Four, set to join the superhero shooter this Friday, February 21. The Human Torch, known as Johnny Storm, is a member of the Duelist class. He brings dynamic gameplay with his ability to fly freely, shoot fire, encircle opponents with a blazing barrier, and unleash devastating fire tornadoes that sweep through everything in their path.
On the other hand, The Thing, or Benjamin J. Grimm, falls into the Defender class. He adds a robust layer to team dynamics with his ability to throw teammates short distances for strategic positioning and to launch enemies into the air with a powerful ground slam, disrupting their formations.
In addition to these new characters, the Marvel Rivals team has teased a new map, Central Park, which promises to bring fresh environments and strategic opportunities to the game.
