Marvel Teases Swimsuit Skins for Rivals in Summer Comic Special

Marvel is gearing up for another exciting Swimsuit Special comic book release, and it seems that NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals will also dive into the summer festivities with its own set of swimsuit skins.

A recent post on the Marvel website spilled the beans about what could lead to the long-awaited arrival of Marvel Rivals swimsuit cosmetics. Marvel is set to return with the fan-favorite series on July 9, featuring Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes, and Rivals #1. This issue promises a much-needed vacation for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes from their world-saving duties. More intriguingly, Marvel teases that the comic will offer a sneak peek at designs intended for Marvel Rivals.

"Roxxon Comics is at it again when they release their own UNAUTHORIZED SWIMSUIT SPECIAL," a description for the Marvel Swimsuit Special says. "Wasp is on the case and seizes the opportunity for Marvel’s heroes to do their OWN swimwear fashion shoot all over the world! But fear not, True Believers, we know what you’re REALLY here for! This super-sized special features splash page after splash page of gorgeous art, but with a story so you can pretend you’re ‘reading it for the articles…’"

Unfortunately, Marvel hasn’t disclosed much about the launch date of these summer designs or which characters will be featured. It’s also worth noting that today’s announcement doesn't confirm these skins as part of a specific swimsuit set, but given the special’s theme, it’s reasonable to expect some summer-themed cosmetics.
