The roster of playable characters in Honkai Star Rail is set to expand with the much-anticipated Version 3.1 update, introducing Medea, a formidable new hero poised to enhance the game's lineup. The developers have unveiled an overview trailer that highlights Medea's abilities and her integral role in the game, building excitement ahead of her banner launch.
Medea is classified as a 5-star rarity character who treads the Path of Destruction. She excels in combat by dealing potent Imaginary-type damage. Her unique gameplay mechanic involves sacrificing her own health to unleash devastating attacks on a selected enemy and nearby foes. Moreover, Medea can enter a "Fury" state, which offers a strategic advantage by allowing her to avoid defeat from a fatal blow. Upon receiving what would be a fatal hit, she exits the "Fury" state and regenerates her health, making her a resilient and tactical powerhouse on the battlefield.
With the rollout of the Version 3.1 update, Medea will be accessible through her own character banner. Her introduction to Honkai Star Rail not only enriches the game's universe but also opens up new strategic avenues and team composition possibilities for players. This addition continues to fuel the excitement and engagement within the Honkai Star Rail community.
