The popular PC point-and-click adventure game, Midnight Girl, is making its way to Android! Fans of the PC version will be thrilled to hear that pre-registration is now open, with a tentative release date slated for the end of September.
Developed by Italic DK, an indie studio based in Denmark, Midnight Girl initially launched on PC in November 2023. The Android version will be free-to-play. But what makes this game so special? Let's delve in.
Set in Paris, 1965, you play as Monique, a Parisian cat burglar with aspirations of a better life. She dreams of escaping to Chile to reconnect with her estranged father, but first, she needs to pull off a daring diamond heist. However, someone is watching her, and the stakes are higher than she anticipated.
Midnight Girl offers simple yet engaging 2D puzzle gameplay, primarily inventory-based puzzles. Expect witty conversations and inventive solutions—like using a fireplace poker to open a tricky mechanism! The difficulty cleverly scales with Monique's skill progression, mirroring her transformation from amateur thief to seasoned professional.
Explore atmospheric locations, from shadowy catacombs and serene monasteries to the bustling Parisian metro. Intrigued? Check out the trailer below!
Midnight Girl is a charming homage to 1960s Paris, Belgian comics, and classic heist movies. Its appeal lies in its meticulous detail and stunning visuals, reminiscent of a beautifully illustrated graphic novel.
