Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Is Landing Soon!

Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, monsters, weapons, and a revamped Season Pass.

Pre-Season Sneak Peek:

Even before Season 5 begins, players can encounter the Chatacabra on February 28th, marking its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. The season's official launch will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.

Weapon Enhancements:

Expect significant balance adjustments to weapons, aiming for improved viability and enjoyment across all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, simplifying targeting of breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with enhanced power and more satisfying combos. The Guard skill is also receiving a significant upgrade; higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further details on these and other tweaks will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

More Season 5 Features:

A major quality-of-life improvement arrives with an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 inventory slots.

Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new material exchange feature will launch. Hunters can trade special materials earned through hunts and events for valuable rewards such as Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
