NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run on Android, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operation.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, offered a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror experience. Players could choose to be either a Killer, sacrificing Survivors to The Entity, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.

Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS Date:

The official shutdown date for Dead by Daylight Mobile is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.

NetEase will process refunds according to regional laws. Further details regarding the refund process will be available on January 16th, 2025.

Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits new players making the switch, and existing mobile players will receive loyalty rewards based on their in-game spending and progress.

Before the servers go dark, download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store and experience the chilling gameplay for yourself. For another exciting mobile gaming option, check out our review of Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
