Nexon Announces the EOS of Dynasty Warriors M Just a Year After Its Launch

Nexon announces the end of service (EOS) for Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed, the mobile adaptation of the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. Players who have enjoyed leading their forces in thrilling battles should make the most of the remaining time.

In-app purchases were halted on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the community, the official statement didn't detail the reasons behind the game's closure. The announcement wasn't entirely unexpected, given the game's relatively poor performance. Launched in November 2023, the game's lifespan will be just over a year.

The final battle concludes on February 20th, 2025. A final update is expected this month.

Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed offered a unique blend of classic Musou action and strategic gameplay. Players could collect and develop 50 officers from five factions, conquering castles across a vast map with 13 regions and 500 stages. The story mode recreated pivotal historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
