While Nintendo remains tight-lipped about specific reveals, industry speculation suggests several potential announcements. Chief among them is Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, a title originally unveiled at E3 2017 that has remained largely mysterious since.
Other rumored possibilities include Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a possible Wind Waker HD remaster, and the new Mario Kart title teased during prior Switch 2 promotional materials. The gaming community also holds hope for a confirmed release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong after recent developments.
It's important to note that while the Direct focuses on current Switch offerings, Nintendo has confirmed backward compatibility for the Switch 2. This means any showcased games will also be playable on the upcoming console.
With the countdown underway, excitement builds for potential surprise reveals. Nintendo's track record suggests fans should prepare for unexpected announcements, though specifics remain under wraps until tomorrow's presentation.
