Norman Reedus Open to Playing Himself in Death Stranding 2 Movie

Attention all Death Stranding fans! Get ready for another thrilling journey because Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is slated to launch in June. The franchise's beloved star, actor Norman Reedus, recently shared some exciting insights about the upcoming game and a potential film adaptation during an interview with IGN.

When asked about the possibility of portraying himself in the film version of the game, which was announced to be in development by Michael Sarnoski and A24 last month, Reedus enthusiastically responded, "If it was an option, yeah, for sure. I don’t know what’s happening with it. It’s so pre pre pre right now. But yeah, of course."

Reedus also touched on his experience with the first game and his anticipation for the sequel. Despite the complexities, he expressed unwavering trust in the visionary creator, Hideo Kojima. "As far as working with him and understanding where his head’s at, I don’t think anybody can understand where his head’s at," Reedus remarked. "He’s just that guy, he’s out there and he’s got great ideas. But story-wise, I did know what was happening more. There’s more action in it, there’s more of a definite goal to get to."

Regardless of the challenges and intricacies within the Death Stranding universe, Reedus remains eager to be part of the adventure. "It’s always a trip working on those things," he shared with IGN. "It’s great, but it’s wild."
