Accessing the Dark Aether Nexus and Initial Pack-a-Punch Location

Unlike previous maps, simply reaching the Pack-a-Punch location isn't enough. First, you must open the Doorway to Nowhere. This teleporter leads to the Dark Aether Nexus, where the Pack-a-Punch initially resides.

Find the Doorway to Nowhere in the Subterranean Temple. Progress through the map, opening doors until you reach the Temple. At the altar, use the Amulet (you'll start with it) to activate the Doorway. Enter the Dark Aether Nexus. The Pack-a-Punch machine is near the center of this area.

Tracking the Pack-a-Punch's Moving Location

The Pack-a-Punch machine is mobile. It can appear in two locations: the Dark Aether Nexus (its starting point) and the Roman Mausoleum (an ornate ruin atop the Dig Site).

To locate it, consult your Tac-Map. The main map and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If the Pack-a-Punch icon isn't on one map, it's on the other.

Alternatively, a stone slab with illuminated sections indicates the Pack-a-Punch's position. If the symbol is on the main map, head to that location. If it's on a separate island on the slab, it's in the Dark Aether Nexus. This method mirrors how the Mystery Box location is revealed.
