If you're a fan of retro-inspired JRPGs, then Endless Grades: Pixel Saga might just be the game you've been waiting for. This isn't about college exams, but rather a nostalgic journey through a pixelated world that's available now on Android and set to launch on iOS on April 1st.
Endless Grades: Pixel Saga taps into the love for classic RPGs, offering a visual style that, while not as striking as Octopath Traveler, still captures the charm of yesteryear. You'll embark on adventures to collect unique heroes, craft your own equipment, and delve into dungeons to gather materials and battle demons.
One aspect that might be a point of contention is the inclusion of an auto-battler mechanic, which can be divisive among gamers. However, if you enjoy this feature and are looking for a fresh take on the mobile JRPG genre, Endless Grades could be worth exploring.
Average Grades
The game offers a comprehensive experience with character collection, crafting, and dungeon exploration. However, some might find the boasting about high SSR pull rates a bit off-putting. It would be more appealing if the developers allowed the game's impressive retro-inspired qualities to shine on their own merit.
If Endless Grades doesn't quite meet your expectations, don't worry. You can explore our curated list of the top 25 best RPGs for iOS and Android, which covers a wide range of sub-genres from open-world adventures to turn-based classics.
