PlayStation Plus subscribers have even more reason to stay engaged this summer, with a fresh wave of exciting games joining the Extra and Premium catalogs in June 2025. From brand-new adventures to beloved classics, Sony continues to deliver value-packed content that caters to every type of gamer.
The latest additions were unveiled during the June 2025 State of Play presentation, offering a diverse lineup set to roll out across the summer season. Some titles will be available from day one of their release, ensuring players can jump into the action immediately.
Leading the charge is *Sword of the Sea*, an atmospheric adventure title developed by Giant Squid—the creative minds behind *Abzu* and *The Pathless*. This visually stunning game invites players to explore a vibrant, open-world oasis through fluid, skateboarding-inspired movement mechanics. Set for release on August 19, 2025, it will be available at no additional cost to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members.
Adding to the excitement is Remedy Entertainment’s *FBC: Firebreak*, which dives deeper into the world of *Control*. This title is set to arrive in the Game Catalog for Premium and Extra subscribers on June 17, 2025. With Remedy’s reputation for delivering narrative-rich gameplay, fans are eagerly anticipating what this new experience holds.
For those who enjoy a bit of nostalgia with their gaming, the PlayStation Plus Premium tier brings back several iconic titles. The updated Classics Catalog includes legendary games such as *Deus Ex*, *Twisted Metal 3*, *Twisted Metal 4*, *Resident Evil 2*, and *Resident Evil 3: Nemesis*. These timeless experiences are perfect for both revisiting old favorites and discovering classic gameplay mechanics.
In addition, puzzle-adventure icons *Myst* and *Riven* will be added later this month as part of the Days of Play celebrations, giving subscribers even more to explore across genres and generations.
While some specific dates are still under wraps, the confirmed list provides a solid roadmap for what's ahead. More titles are expected to be revealed in the coming months, keeping PlayStation Plus content fresh and engaging throughout the year.
