Pokémon Go's February Community Day: Karrablast, Shelmet, and Exciting Bonuses!

Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! The February Community Day event details are here, featuring Karrablast and Shelmet! This exciting event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Featured Pokémon:

Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of catching these Pokémon, including their Shiny variants. The real excitement lies in their evolutions!

Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (a substantial 90 power in all battle types).

Special Research and Timed Research:

Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows the main event, unlocking further encounters with these special Pokémon upon logging in during Community Day.
