February 2025's Pokémon GO event calendar is packed with exciting activities, including Lunar New Year festivities and a Community Day featuring Karrablast & Shelmet. Even Dynamax Moltres makes an appearance! Here's a complete rundown of this month's events:
Celebrate the Year of the Snake with increased spawn rates for snake-themed Pokémon like Ekans (Shiny available). Other boosted Pokémon include Onix (Shiny), Snivy (Shiny), Darumaka (Shiny), Dunsparce (Shiny), Gyarados (Shiny), and Dratini (Shiny). Enjoy increased Lucky Pokémon trade chances, easier Lucky Friend attainment, and daily Field Research tasks rewarding PokéCoins. 2KM Eggs will hatch Makuhita (Shiny), Nosepass (Shiny), Meditite (Shiny), Duskull (Shiny), and Skorupi (Shiny).
Dynamax Moltres debuts as a Max Monday boss at all Power Spots on February 3 (6 PM – 7 PM local time). Afterward, it remains available until February 9, though at fewer locations due to the concurrent appearance of Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble as Max Battle bosses (until February 10).
This dual Community Day (2 PM – 5 PM local time) offers increased Karrablast and Shelmet encounters, boosted evolution bonuses, and higher Shiny odds. Evolving Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16 (10 PM) yields an Escavalier with Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively. A paid Timed Research option is available for enhanced rewards.
Details for this event are currently under wraps but will be updated as they become available.
A Raid Day event will occur on February 15 (2 PM – 5 PM local time). The featured Pokémon will be announced later.
Further details on this event are pending.
This event serves as a prelude to the March Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Global event. Highlights include the Shiny Meloetta debut, Gen-5 Legendary Raids, increased Unovan starter Pokémon spawns, premium Timed Research, and various bonuses.
Pokémon GO is available now.
